State Visit of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yuschenko and his wife Kateryna to the Czech Republic

On the invitation of the President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus, His Excellency Viktor Yushchenko and his wife Kateryna arrive Tuesday, March 24, 2009 for a two-day state visit to the Czech Republic.

11.00 - a solemn welcome ceremony with military honors in the First Courtyard of the Prague Castle

11.20 - private meeting of the two presidential couples
* Photo opportunity at the beginning of the meeting
12.30 - a short meeting with the press
* Consecutive interpreting - English/Ukrainian
* Photo, TV - entry with press pass only
Entry for journalists is through a central tract (entrance to the Office of the President of the Czech Republic from the Second Courtyard of the Prague Castle). For protocol reasons, it is necessary to appear 30 minutes before the start of the event; late arrivals will not be taken into consideration. Formal dress required.
