US President Barack H. Obama comes for a state visit to the Czech Republic

On the invitation of the President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus, the President of the United States Barack Obama arrives for a two-day working visit to the Czech Republic on 4 April.
During his stay in Prague, he will meet President Václav Klaus, Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek and other state officials of the Czech Republic.

Saturday morning – Arrival of B. H. Obama at the airport of Stará Ruzyně

08.30 - Welcome ceremony with military honors in the First Courtyard of the Prague Castle

Conditions for Accreditation
Applications for accreditation will be accepted from 27 March until 14.00 p.m.
31 March at the latest!
We will not process any late applications!!!
Applications for accreditation may only be sent by e-mail to the Press Department of the Office of the President of the Republic to petr.macinka@hrad.cz.
The application must include the following data: *
- First name
- Surname
- Office
- Job title (cameraman, journalist, photographer)
- Number of press ID
- Mobile phone number
- E-mail
NOTE:For capacity reasons some events will only be open to a limited number of journalists. Items of the program marked as a “photo pool” will be available only for cameramen and photographers.
