President will chair the informal summit "European Union - Islamic Republic of Pakistan"

The President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus will chair the informal Summit "European Union - Islamic Republic of Pakistan" on 17 June 2009 in Brussels. The Summit will be held in the framework of the Czech Presidency over the Council of the European Union. The President of the Czech Republic along with European Commission President José Barroso and Secretary General of the Council of the European Union Javier Solana will participate in the Summit on behalf of the European Union. The delegation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will be lead by the President Ásif Alí Zardárí.
