Press Accreditation for the U.S. – Russia Summit “START Follow ON”

On Thursday, April 8th, 2010, Prague will host a U.S. – Russia Summit “START Follow ON”, headed by the U.S. President Barack Obama and the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. Please, pay attention to the following information concerning press accreditation.

The Office of the President will receive accreditation requests for events connected with the summit from Friday, April 2, 2010 from 11.30am until Tuesday, April 6, 2010, 11.30am. Requests received after this date will not be taken into consideration. Applications can be addressed to the Office of the President only by filling in the official application form that can be found at www.hrad.cz/accreditation. Those who’ll be issued accreditation will be informed about the details of the summit on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, during the day.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that for time and technical reasons, press officers covering the events at the Prague airport will not be able to cover events connected with the course of the summit.

Accreditation is possible in the following parts of the program:

- Arrival and departure at the Prague airport
- U.S. – Russia Summit “START Follow ON”

Program of the Summit including the exact time frame and location of the events will be announced at the beginning of next week. Office of the President reserves the right to deny accreditation for capacity reasons.
