President of the Republic appointed Colonel doc. M. Sc. Frantisek Vojkovsky, app. PhD., Colonel of the General Staff M. Sc. Cestmir Tesarik, Col. M. Sc. Zdenek Plchota and Col. M. Sc. Petr Mlejnek to the rank of Brigadier Generals.

Jiri Baloun, PhD., Director of Communication and Information Systems Department of the Ministry of Defence - Chief Signal Officer of the Czech Republic Army and Colonel M. Sc. Michal Pazur, Deputy Director of the Joint Operations Centre of the Ministry of Defence, to the rank of Brigadier Generals.
