Foreign Ambassadors in the Czech Republic
Heads of Diplomatic Missions received by the President of the Republic on the occasion of presenting their Letters of Credence
Power of the President of the Republic to receive heads of Diplomatic Missions results from the Constitution of the Czech republic.
Pursuant to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the Ambassador of the delegating country assumes officially the office of Head of Diplomatic Mission, usually with the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, by presenting his/her Letters of Credence to the Head of State of the receiving country.
