Appointing of President and Inspectors of the Office for Personal Data Protection

Power of the President of the Republic to appoint and recall President and Inspectors of the Office for Personal Data Protection results from the Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on protection of personal data. Pursuant to Section 32 and Section 33 of the Act, President and seven Inspectors of the Office are appointed and recalled by the President of the Republic upon the Senate's proposal.
