President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel participated in the GLOBSEC Forum on June 12 and 13. Following his opening speech at the official launch of the conference, he also visited the GeoTech Summit, whose second edition this year focused on strengthening strategic digital infrastructure and technologies in Europe.

During the two-day conference, the President held meetings with, among others, EU Commissioner for Defence and Space Adrus Kubilius, former Supreme Allied Commander Europe Philip M. Breedlove, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, and representatives of the Slovak Republic. "I believe that the GLOBSEC international security conference is a great platform for the exchange of ideas—something we need today to preserve democracy, security, and prosperity," President Pavel stated.

In addition to political leaders, the President also met with various partners and representatives of technology companies such as Microsoft and Saab.
