Statement on the Processing of Personal Data via the Website
We consider the protection of personal data to be an important and essential part of our systems and processes. In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter also referred to as the “GDPR”) and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), we hereby issue the following statement in accordance with Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data.
Purpose of personal data processing:
Provision of services to the data subject pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.
List of personal data that may be processed for the purposes of the services offered:
- First and last name
- Email address
- School name, for reservations of exhibition visit dates for schools
- Organization name, for booking dates for thematic lectures
- Phone number
- Name of the editorial office, date of birth, nationality, ID number, in the case of accreditation for press conferences
No automated decision-making or profiling takes place. Processing may be conducted manually or through automated systems.
Your personal data is not transferred to third countries outside the EU.
Retention period for your personal data:
We process personal data in cases of lawful processing for the period specified by law, and in cases of voluntary processing for the period specified in the consent.
Upon the expiration of the retention period, personal data will be securely deleted or destroyed.
Protection of Your Personal Data:
Personal data is subject to our constant physical, electronic, and procedural controls. We have control, technical, and security mechanisms in place to protect the data we process against unauthorized access or transfer, loss or destruction, as well as other possible misuse. All persons who come into contact with your personal data in the course of performing their work or contractual obligations are bound by a legal or contractual duty of confidentiality, which remains in effect even after the termination of their employment or contractual relationship with us.
Sources of personal data:
The controller collects personal data through forms for booking dates for school visits to exhibitions, forms for booking dates for guided tours, and forms for accrediting journalists for events organized by the Communications Department of the Office of the President of the Republic. Personal data may also be collected from sources other than those listed above, primarily through the activities of the controller’s staff.
The data controller guarantees the rights of data subjects arising from the General Data Protection Regulation.

The Right to Request Information and Access Regarding the Processing of Personal Data
You may request information regarding whether your personal data is being processed and to what extent.
Right to Erasure
You may request the erasure of your personal data, and we are obligated to do so without undue delay if at least one of the grounds set forth in Article 17(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation applies. However, we may refuse your request for erasure on legal grounds, either when we need the personal data to fulfill a contract (service), or when we are required to retain it by legal obligations or the legitimate interests of the controller.
Right to Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
You may request that the controller rectify inaccurate personal data concerning you without undue delay. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject has the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.
Right to Restriction of processing
You may request that the controller cease processing your personal data.
Right to Data portability
You may request your personal data in a format suitable for further automated processing.
Where can you raise objections, withdraw consent, or request data transfer?
You may at any time raise objections to the processing of your personal data, withdraw your consent, or modify its scope in any of the following ways:
