On Thursday 26 June 2025, the Castle Guard will commemorate Armed Forces Day at Prague Castle.
At 12:40 p.m., the programme of celebrations will begin in the Third Courtyard with the ceremonial entry of the Castle Guard on the occasion of this important day. Together with the unit of the Castle Guard, the unit of the Military History Club Hradní setnina will present itself.

The military ceremony will also be complemented by the arrival of a standard bearer with the historical standard of the President of the Czech Republic with guards on horseback from the National Stud in  Kladruby nad Labem. After the arrival of the soldiers, the programme will continue with a show performance by the motorcycle and parade unit of the Castle Guard. It will be followed by a fifteen-minute concert of the Band of the Castle Guard.

Between 11 am and 2 pm, both historic and contemporary Castle Guard motorcycles will be on display in the western part of the 3rd courtyard, the historic ones will be on loan from private collections.

Between 12 and 6 pm, soldiers dressed in historicist legionary uniforms from World War I will stand guard in front of the Giants' Gate.
