Czech Architecture Week Prague 2015

The 9th international festival of architecture and urbanism Architecture Week Prague 2015 will be held under the auspices of Mr Miloš Zeman, the President of the Czech Republic, at the St. George´s Convent at the Prague Castle and other locations in Prague from August 17 till October 18, 2015. The festival is co-organized by the Prague Castle Administration.
The main exposition and a central theme of this year´s festival is the expositionHeritage of My Homeland, prepared under the auspices of the Association of Regions of the CR, the National Heritage Institute and in co-operation with the Czech Tourism. By means of models, films, photographs and artefacts, each region will present their major architectural jewels, art, culture and other places of interest for tourists in a unique collection borrowed from museums, galleries, castles, chateaux and private collectors from throughout the Czech Republic. In addition to this exhibition, the visitors of the St. George´s Convent can see more than 10 expositions and in total more than 150 mainly architectural exhibits from 31 countries of the world. The results of the project and the best works of children will be presented in the exhibition Playful Architect 2015 in the Rožmberk Palace at the Prague Castle.
