Gifts for the President from Nearby and Faraway Lands II

The exhibition ‘Gifts for the President from Nearby and Faraway Lands II’ offers a unique glimpse into the role of gifts in diplomacy and local traditions. The updated showcase of selected protocol gifts received by President Petr Pavel from foreign leaders, local representatives and also citizens of his home country through out 2025. Starting in July 2026, state honors awarded to President Petr Pavel by leaders of other countries in 2024–2025 will also be on display. Additionally you can now see a selection of gifts given to the first lady, Eva Pavlová.

The exhibition presents objects of excellent craftsmanship and artistic quality, as well as gifts of high personal and sentimental value. We invite you to come and reveal the story behind these extraordinary artefacts and uncover the role of gifts on diplomatic and personal levels.
