  1. In most cases (8), the complaints were directed against the provision of information regarding the amnesty declared by the President of the Czech Republic on January 1, 2013. These complaints were rejected by the Head of the Office of the President of the Republic.
  2. Two complaints concerned the reimbursement of costs for the time-consuming search through documents to provide information. These were also rejected by the Head of the Office of the President of the Republic.
  3. The remaining to complaints followed the applicant's insufficient knowledge of Act No. 106/1999 Coll., on Free Access to Information, as amended. In one case, the complaint was submitted via e-mail, but was not digitally signed, and in the final case, the applicant failed to wait for the legal deadline for the claim and filed a complaint on the procedure of the Office of the President of the Republic, as an obligatory subject.

Section 18 paragraph 1, letter f)

Additional information:

It can be stated that the requests submitted to the Office of the President of the Republic, conforming to Act 106/1999 Coll., on Free Access to Information, as amended, are repeated from year to year, in terms of content. They are always reactions to statements of the President of the Republic or his decisions.

Year 2013 was immediately noted for the amnesty declared by the President of the Republic, which citizens were very emotional about.

Recurring requests included the request for information regarding the income of several head employees of the Office of the President of the Republic. These were also justifiably rejected.
