Visitor traffic of Prague Castle from 25 May 2020

As of Monday, May 25, based on the decision of the President of the Republic, comprehensive inspections of visitors are temporarily replaced by random inspections. We ask visitors not to come to the complex with larger luggage. It is forbidden to bring any dangerous objects into the premises.

Information regarding tourist traffic:

From Monday, May 25, 2020, the following will be available within the visitor circuit: Cathedral of St. Vitus, Old Royal Palace, Basilica of St. George and Golden lane. It will also be possible to visit the lookout tower of Cathedral of St. Vitus. All these buildings will be open in a unified opening time daily from 10.00 to 18.00 until 31 December 2020, Prague Castle complex will be open from 6.00 to 22.00. Opening hours of the Cathedral of St. Vitus may be different due to liturgical reasons. Exceptions in opening hours will continue to be announced here.

Until September 30, 2020, a discounted entrance fee to the cathedral lookout tower (CZK 150 full entrance fee, CZK 80 reduced and CZK 300 family tickets) and 50% cheaper guide services are also prepared for visitors. In addition to the purchase of three tickets of visitor circuit (full, reduced or a combination thereof) and to a visitor circuit family ticket, visitors will receive one ticket free of charge. It will be possible to use this ticket until 31 December 2020.

From 25 May, from 3 pm, it will also be possible to visit the exhibition "Ivan Bukovský - 70" in Queen Anne's Summer Palace in the Royal Garden. The exhibition will also be open daily from 10:00 to 18:00, as well as the Royal Garden.

The Deer Moat will remain closed due to the continuation of construction work.

When visiting Prague Castle, visitors will have to strictly observe all hygienic measures resulting from the regulations of the relevant authorities and follow the valid Visitor Rules.
