Operational Restrictions and Closures: September 9 – October 1, 2025

Old Royal Palace

September 9–15: The Old Royal Palace will be completely closed to the public

September 16–17: The Old Royal Palace will operate in Czech Crown Jewels Exhibition mode – ONLY FOR RESERVED SCHOOL GROUPS.

September 18–29: The Vladislav Hall in the Old Royal Palace will be open as part of the free Czech Crown Jewels Exhibition.

September 30: The Old Royal Palace will be completely closed to the public.

From October 1: The Old Royal Palace will be fully open for regular tourist visits.

 

St. Vitus Cathedral

September 15: The cathedral will be closed all day (including the Great South Tower).

September 28: The cathedral will be open to tourists from 12:00 to 16:00 (last entry at 15:40).

 

The Story of Prague Castle Exhibition

September 15: The exhibition will be closed all day.

 

South Gardens

September 15: The gardens will be closed to the public from 15:00.

September 18–29: During the Czech Crown Jewels Exhibition, the gardens will be closed for regular visits.

The section from Na Opyši Street to the Bull Staircase will be completely closed.

The section from Hradčanské Square to the Bull Staircase will be open in one-way mode for entry to the Czech Crown Jewels Exhibition.
