Hartig Garden

The Hartig Garden with a Music Pavilion was joined to the Garden on the Ramparts in the sixties of the 20th century. Its current image hails back to 1965 designed by architects Adolf Bens and Richard Podzemny. Hartig Garden is closed for public.

So-called Bellevue in the Rampart Garden built after plans of architect Plečnik in 1920´. This place with the atmosphere of ancient times offers a possibility of relax and beautiful views of Prague.
The palace of Rožmberks was rebuilt in the 18th century and converted into the Institute of Gentle Women for poor noble ladies. Recently, the palace was reconstructed and it can be visited during exhibitions and concerts.
The view can be seen from the entrance to the South Gardens from Hradčanské square. It is possible to pass through the gardens along the Prague Castle area. The Paradise Garden is remarkable for its charming curtness. The Hartig Garden offers romantic corners and the Rampart Garden amazing views of Prague.
